**UPDATE** HARTFORD, Ky. (10/20/25) — According to the Hartford Police Department, around 9:15 p.m. Satruday, Oct. 18, Joseph Gregory was taken into custody without incident by the Hartford Police Department in collaboration with the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office.
The HPD thanked all who assisted in locating Gregory and thanked the community for its continued support and cooperation in keeping the area safe.

HARTFORD, Ky. — The Hartford Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a suspect wanted on domestic violence charges.
The HPD is looking for information on the whereabouts of Joseph Gregory, also known as “Joey.” Gregory is 45, 6’1″ tall, weighs 200 lbs., has blue eyes and is bald.
Gregory is wanted on charges of second-degree assault (domestic violence), first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and third-degree terroristic threatening.
