KSP investigating escaped inmate with Ohio County ties

RICHMOND, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, is searching for an inmate who walked away from the Bluegrass Career Development Center just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in Madison County.
Jeremy D. Ward, 26, from Hartford, Kentucky, is a white male, 5’8”, 120 lbs, with brown hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his neck and chest. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, camouflage sweatpants, and white shoes.
Ward was serving a sentence for multiple drug trafficking and possession charges, burglary, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Ward is known to frequent Owensboro, Hartford, Beaver Dam, and nearby areas.
