Virginia ‘Gini’ Delania Daugherty Renfrow

BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Virginia “Gini” Delania Daugherty Renfrow, 75, of Beaver Dam, passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Gini was born on May 8, 1950, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to the late Joe and Doris Daugherty.

In 1968, Gini married the love of her life, Danny Renfrow, and together they built a family filled with love, faith, and resilience. She was the proud mother of five children and dedicated her life to raising her family while also serving her community.

For more than 10 years, Gini worked as a teacher’s assistant at Horse Branch Elementary, where she shared her kindness and encouragement with countless students. She later retired from Ritatsu after many years of service.

In addition to her parents, Gini was preceded in death by her brother, William “Billy” Daugherty, and her beloved sons, Danny Brent Renfrow and Toby Jason Renfrow.

Gini leaves behind her devoted husband, Danny Renfrow; three children, Deidra (Jason) Moorman, Nikka Renfrow, and Patrick Renfrow; eight grandchildren, Tori Kinison, Hayley Renfrow, Cody Elms, Jessica Osborne, Toby Gibson, Tristen Elms, Hannah Abell, and Erica Renfrow; as well as many great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.

Gini will be remembered for her warm heart, her love for her family, and the steady strength she carried through life’s challenges. She touched the lives of all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and devotion.

A celebration of life for Gini will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 8997 US Hwy 62 W, Rockport, KY 42369.
