ROSINE, Ky. — Rev. Kenney Lee Sapp, 66, of Rosine, went home to be with Jesus on Sept. 8, 2025. He was born at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Kentucky, on Aug. 20, 1959, to the late Rev. Earl and Verblee Lindsey Sapp.

Kenney was a General Baptist minister who announced his calling on Sept. 9, 1990. He worked as a construction worker until the time he became disabled in 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Debbie Daniels Sapp; two children, Tabitha (David) Furgerson, of Horse Branch, Kentucky, and Jordan (Tommie) Sappm of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; four granddaughters, who were the light of his life, McKenzie Sisk, McKayla Sisk, Kiera Sapp and Jasey Sapp; two sisters, Jean (Donnie) Howell, Brenda (Eddie) Hohimer; and one brother, Willard (Patricia) Sapp.

Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. David Hall presiding. Burial will follow in Olaton Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
