MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Charlotte Maurine Clark, 58, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1966, in Hartford, Kentucky, Charlotte’s spirited nature and infectious smile touched the lives of all who knew her.

Charlotte was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Charlotte’s life was a testament to her commitment to her community and her faith. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of God and an active supporter of the Butler County Softball Boosters. Her professional life was dedicated to serving the children and staff at Butler County Middle School, where she worked in the cafeteria for several years.

Her passion for life was evident in her love for softball, particularly when watching her daughter Madison play. Charlotte enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts. She was always the organizer of family meals, she brought everyone together with her warm hospitality. Above all, Charlotte cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Charlotte’s legacy is one of love, courage, and spirit. She faced life’s challenges with grace and determination.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Charlotte “Dolly” Schroader White, and her husband, Mark Clark.

Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her loving family, including her father, Billy Ray White, of Morgantown; her children, Brian Wilson (April), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Madison Clark, of Morgantown; her grandchildren, Brian Elijah Wilson and Andres James Wilson, both of Beaver Dam; her brother, James Ray White (Sherry), of Morgantown; her sister, Sarah Mayes (Timothy), of Beaver Dam; and her numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and -nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 12 p.m. with Bro. Steven Leach officiating. Burial will be in the Little Muddy Cemetery where James White, Dakota Mayes, Kaiden Thomas, Steven White, Robert Leach and Chris Leach will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 18, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. until funeral time at 12 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
