HARTFORD, Ky. — Wilma Whitler, 74, passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. She was born June 24, 1951, in Chiggerville, Kentucky, to the late Jeffy and Mae Hope Knight.
Mrs. Whitler was the owner and operator of Double Door Antiques in McHenry, Kentucky, for 40 years.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jackie B. Whitler; infant son, Donald Ray Whitler; and a son-in-law, Michael White.
She is survived by two children, Terry (Teresa) Whitler, of Echols, Kentucky, and Kimberly White, of McHenry; four grandchildren, RJ (Shelby) Worth, Latoshia (Jeremy) Woods, Brittany Worth, Jaclyn Whitler, and Zachary Whitler; granddaughter at heart, Autumn Tichenor; several great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Larry Knight and Billie Dunham, both of Arkansas, Fud Knight, of Illinois, and Debbie (Donald) Gosk, of Horse Branch, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Mrs. Whitler’s family from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the cemetery.
