McHENRY, Ky. — Chloe Raye Bishop, 17, of McHenry, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in a tragic car accident. She was born on Sept. 28, 2007, in Evansville, Indiana.
Chloe was going to be a senior at Ohio County High School in the upcoming school year.
To know Chloe was to love her. She would do anything for anyone at any time. She was a big advocate for helping those who suffered from depression and thoughts of suicide. She even had dreams of being a therapist to help those in need. Her passions included cars- fast and classic, classic rock, animals, traveling, dancing, photography, animae and intentionally wearing her mother’s mismatched socks.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-great-grandmother, Irene Southard; paternal grandparents, J.C. and Linda House, Hazel Benson and Oscar Bishop; paternal great-uncle, Ricky Bishop; and maternal great-grandparents, Elgia and Glen Fraim.
Survivors include her parents, Jay and Jessica Fulton Bishop, of McHenry; siblings, Chase “Luci” Bishop and twin, Ronnie Bishop, both of McHenry; grandparents, Paula and Rondal Bishop, of McHenry, Dawne and Stan Siewart, of Steele, Alabama, James and Shirley Fulton, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; great-grandparents, Joe and Myrna Southard, of McHenry, James “Billy” and Mary Fulton, of Cromwell, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Jessica (Stephen) Wallace, of Beaver Dam, Jennifer (Mejdi) Tabbabi, of McHenry, and Jamaica Renfrow (Jeff Allen), of Hartford, Kentucky, Jeremiah (Elizabeth) Fulton, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Jimmy Fulton, of Owensboro; and many great-aunts, -uncles and cousins. She was also blessed with too many friends to name and many teachers and staff within the Ohio County School System.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with her teacher, Kristie Minton, officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Chloe’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
