LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Heat Advisory for Ohio County and much of the surrounding area. The Heat Advisory will go into effect at noon Wednesday, July 23, and expire at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 23.
According to the NWS, heat index values up to around 105 are expected tomorrow in portions of Indiana and north central, northwest, and south central Kentucky.
Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
