Clayton O. Ralph

BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Clayton O. Ralph, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on Dec. 18, 1939, Clayton was the beloved son of the late Dillice E. Ralph and Beatrice (Brown) Ralph.

Clayton was a man of great faith, quiet strength, and deep devotion to his family. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—he loved fishing, tending to his bees, and spending time outdoors. But above all, Clayton cherished his role as a Dad and Pappaw. His family was the heart of his world, and he poured his love into each generation that followed him.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Lou (Williams) Ralph; his parents, Dillice and Beatrice (Brown) Ralph; his daughter, Kathy Jo (Ralph) Ross; three sisters; and seven brothers.

Though he knew great loss in this life, Clayton’s heart remained full of love, generosity, and kindness to all who knew him.

Clayton is survived by his children, Larry (Linda) Ralph, of Martinsville, Indiana; Paul (Bess) Ralph, of Beaver Dam; Mark (Judy) Ralph, of Greenwood, Indiana; and Teresa Ralph-Faught, of Greenwood, Indiana; he was the proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way), and one great-great-grandchild (with two more expected soon); and he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.

Clayton’s legacy of faith, family, and love will live on in the many lives he touched. He will be greatly missed—but never forgotten.

Until we meet again, Dad… We Love You.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.
