WHITESVILLE, Ky. — Martha Adams Tomblinson, 77, of Whitesville, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, surrounded by her family at home. She was born Saturday, Dec. 6, 1947, in McHenry, Kentucky, to the late Martin Adams and Flora Bradley Adams.
Mrs. Tomblinson’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Bud and Emma Adams, Johnny Adams, Anna and Claude Ashburn, Ruby and Ed Willoughby and Glenn Daugherty.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 48 years, Charlie Tomblinson, of Whitesville; children, Angie (Kevin) Gallagher, of Owensboro, Kentucky, Mark Faught, Randy Tomblinson, and Todd Tomblinson, all of Whitesville; five grandchildren, Shea (Leo) New, Katie Dant, Jackson (Hannah) Cecil, Hannah (Hunter) Brumley and Dallas (Trevor) Moseley; seven great grandchildren, Cooper, Hudson, Gracie, Ellie, Hadie Mae, Mia “Mimi,” Sophia Ann, and one on the way; in-laws, Kay Redfern, Jackie and Janice Tomblinson, Vicki and Robert Plienis, Marvin and Kim Tomblinson and Mary Starnes; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with Bro. Jerry Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Centertown Cemetery. Friends may visit with Mrs. Tomblinson’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
