ROSINE, Ky. — Deborah Kaye Stewart, 70, of Rosine, passed away on June 4, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Ohio County native was born on July 24, 1954, to the late Henry and Ruby Lindsey.
Deborah was a spirited jokester who loved bringing joy to others through laughter. Her sense of humor was infectious, and she was delighted in seeing others smile.
In her younger years, she was active and competitive, enjoying games like throwing washers, darts, and softball. Deborah had a kind and generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
She was a devoted member of Horse Branch General Baptist Church for many years, where her faith and fellowship brought her great joy. She especially cherished the trips she took with the ladies of the church; moments filled with laughter, friendship, and memories she held dear.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Ray Lindsey.
Those left to cherish her memories is her dear husband of 48 years, Wayne Stewart; children, Cheryl Perry, Dewayne Stewart, and Danny Dale Stewart; sisters, Leisa (Roger) Blacklock, Henrietta (Wayne) Renfrow, and Vickie (Bud) Sapp; grandchildren, Jacob (Jordan) Stewart, Autumn (Samantha) Stewart, Breanna (James) Stewart, Ty Stewart, Dillian Givens, and Levi Embry; great-grandchild, Tanner, and another on the way; her beloved yorkie, Baby; as well as many other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held June 14, at 2 p.m. at Horse Branch General Baptist Church, 121 Olaton Rd., Horse Branch, KY 42349, with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. Bro. Conner Raymond officiating with a meal following the service.
