LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Ohio County and much of the surrounding area. The Tornado Watch is now in effect until 10 p.m. Friday, May 16. Ohio County is also under a Flood Watch until 3 a.m. Saturday, May 17.
According to the NWS, a significant severe weather outbreak is possible late this afternoon into this evening. All severe hazards are possible, including damaging winds, very large hail, and tornadoes, some of which could be strong.
