LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Ohio County. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch will be in effect until 8 p.m. tonight, May 8.
According to the NWS, scattered to numerous showers and storms are expected across the region Thursday afternoon and evening.
A few of the storms could become strong to severe with hail and locally damaging winds as the main threat. Minor nuisance flooding and ponding of water may also occur in spots that see repeated showers and storm activity.
