BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Pearly Mae Taylor, 85, of Beaver Dam, passed away April 25, 2025, at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born March 25, 1940, to the late Preston and Rosa Mae Finley.
She worked as a CNA at Fordsville Nursing Home for many years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Taylor.
She is survived by her children, Ricky James (Meredith) Taylor and Shelia Kay (Steve Allen) Godsey; grandchildren, Samantha Lee Packwood, Jason Allen Godsey, Jesse James Taylor, and Zachary Clarence Taylor; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville. The family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Magan at a later date.
