Glendle Harlen ‘Glen’ Galloway

OWENSBORO, Ky. — Glendle Harlen “Glen” Galloway, 79, passed away April 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a three year battle with cancer. He was born April 25, 1945, in Daviess County, Kentucky, to the late Robert Harlen Galloway and Martine Ralph Galloway.

Glen served in the U.S. Army and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish. He loved having cookouts and spending time with his family, friends, grandkids and great-grandkids. He was a master plumber for 19 years and retired from Atmos Energy after 22½ years. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Gail Hoskins and Nancy Lindquist; a brother, Donald Galloway; and several half brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patsy Ann Baize Galloway; one son, Robbie (Dawn) Galloway; two daughters, Beverly (Sissy) Galloway and Deva (Dede) Galloway, all of Owensboro; five grandsons, Coby (Gizela) Galloway, of Pueblo, Colorado, Will (Marisa) Hines, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Christopher Galloway, Daniel Galloway, and Jay Galloway, all of Owensboro; four granddaughters, Mariah (Chris) Enochs, of Indianapolis, Kentucky, Ariel Carrico, Malea Galloway and Gracie Galloway, all of Owensboro; 15 great-grandchildren; a very special sister, Beverly and her husband, Raymond Morrison, who was like a brother, and Karen (Ernie) Carrico, of Knotsville, Kentucky; his extended family, Lisa Dawson, Robert Baize, Donald Nelson, and Dylan Miller; along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Terry Tarrance presiding. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
