CROMWELL, Ky. — Curtiss L. Fisher, 70, of Cromwell, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 31, 1955, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late John David Fisher Sr. and Leatrice Hayes Fisher.
Curtiss was an avid coffee drinker, he enjoyed spending time with his family and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny Fisher, Murail Fisher and Donald Ray Fisher and two infant brothers.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his wife of 49 years, Kathryn Matthews Fisher, of Cromwell; five children, Curtiss Lee (Tracy) Fisher II, of Cromwell, Luke (Laura) Fisher, of Cromwell, Kathi Elaine (Chris Snyder) Perez, of Horse Branch, Kentucky, Billy (Amber) Fisher, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and John Travis Fisher, of Cromwell; and two siblings, John David Fisher Jr., of Somerset, Kentucky, and Sheila (Joseph) Rodrigues, of Horse Branch. Curtiss was blessed with 22 grandchildren, Dalton (Haylee) Fisher, Ayden Fisher, Kirstin Fisher, Anna Fisher, Cody Coyle, Brayden Taylor, Allison Watts, Michael Wilcox, Loren Wilcox, Sofia and Sharrie Perez-Fisher, Alexis Snyder, Devin Snyder, Landon Snyder, Matthew Powers, Kyle Casey, Owen Fisher, Kendell Fisher, John Curtiss Fisher, Zebedius Jack Fisher, Emma Lillian Fisher and Andrew Pottle; four great-grandchildren, Alora, Renly, Jensen, and Rylee; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Memorial services will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, at the Horse Branch Community Center, 768 Horse Branch Loop, Horse Branch, KY 42349. A potluck meal and memories will be shared in honor of Curtiss. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Fisher.
