BEAVER DAM – William Neel Phelps “Barney,” 72, of Beaver Dam, passed away April 9, 2025. He was born Nov. 26, 1952, to the late Oscar and Mary Baize Phelps.
Barney owned and operated William Phelps Trucking. He was passionate about his career and greatly enjoyed serving many farmers in the county.
He is survived by his sister, Martha (Don) Frakes, of Donnellon, Florida; brother, Jack Phelps, of Henderson, Kentucky; along with several nieces and nephews.
Per Barney’s wishes, there will be no services. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
