HARTFORD, Ky. — Nola M. McIntyre, 80, of Hartford, formerly of Centertown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025. She was born Thursday, March 15, 1945, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Alfred Olen Raymer and Goldie Johnson Raymer.
Nola was a dedicated wife, loving mother and grandmother. Her and her husband owned and operated McIntyre Ice Company. She was also a hairdresser, seamstress, waitress, farmer, cook and caregiver but most of all she was a humble servant of God.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles McIntyre, and two brothers, Bobby Raymer and RT Raymer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, four children, Andy (Melissa) McIntyre, of Centertown, Patricia (Daniel) Schroader, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Danny McIntyre, of Centertown, and David McIntyre, of Oregon; one brother, Billy (Evelyn), of New Albany, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Raymer, of Roundhill, Kentucky; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Robbie Farris and Sis. Kristie Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Render Cemetery in McHenry, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Nola’s family from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
