HARTFORD, Ky. — Everette “Dwayne” Decker, 72, of Hartford, passed away March 4, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Grayson County, Kentucky, to the late Crit and Violet Decker.
He worked at Dunaway Timber for many years and a member of Zion Baptist church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Decker, Larry Decker, Linda Miller, Judy Huff, Joanie Wilson, Vicki Decker, Donald Ray, Donna Gail, and Peggy Sue.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Decker; son, Anthony Decker (Tina Gonzalez), of Owensboro, Kentucky; siblings, Brenda Pirtle and Gary (Carolyn) Decker.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville, Kentucky, with burial to follow in Olaton Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio County Hospice.
