HARTFORD, Ky. — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bay B. Mitchell, a beloved member of the Hartford and Beaver Dam community. She was born on June 28, 1963, in French Camp, California, and peacefully departed on March 1, 2025.
Bay was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Lynn North Mitchell.
She leaves behind her father, Joe Mitchell; a son, David Ackart, of Minnesota; a daughter, Star; three siblings, Jeff Mitchell (Shelly), Centertown, Kentucky, Danny L. Mitchell (Lauren), of Utica, Kentucky, Millie S. Styles (Curtis), Cave Creek, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
In memory of Bay Brown, services will be held later and announced.
In this time of reflection, let us remember the love that will endure in our hearts forever. As we say goodbye to Bay, we embrace the memories she created, the love she shared, and the joy she brought into our lives. She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
