OWENSBORO, Ky. — Darrell Wayne Adkins, born on Jan. 3, 1980, in Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away on Feb. 14, 2025, in Fordsville, Kentucky.
He was a beloved father to his two sons, Brayden and Crayson, who brought immense joy to his life.
Darrell was known for his passion for working on cars and taking on odd jobs for friends and family, often showcasing his remarkable skills in rebuilding and tinkering with various projects. His generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand endeared him to those around him.
He is survived by his big brother, David, and David’s wife, Maggie, as well as his step-grandfather, William and his wife. Darrell’s love for his sons and his dedication to helping others will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Fordsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
