Randall ‘Lum’ Coleman

HARTFORD, Ky. — Randall “Lum” Coleman, 86 of Hartford, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. He was born on Feb. 1, 1939, in Shultztown, Kentucky, to the late Matthew and Myrtle Felty Coleman.

Lum was a United States Army Veteran, a member of New Harmony Baptist Church, and he retired from TVA. He enjoyed his morning coffee visits with his buddies at the truck stop and loved going to flea markets.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Beth Sellers Coleman; four sisters, Beatrice Taylor, Justine Ferguson, Rita Hudson, and Freda Johnson; and one brother, Billy Coleman.

He leaves behind to cherish many memories are his daughters, Lisa (Rick) Harlan, of Quality, Kentucky, and Angie (Wayne) Jackson, of Hartford; three grandchildren, Britney (Chad) Wood, Bradley Jackson, and Beth (Zach) Henry; four great-grandchildren, Ryan Wood, Talynn Wood, Cooper Henry, and Emery Henry; his dog, Olivia; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with Rev. Greg Hillard officiating.
