LIVERMORE, Ky. — Betty Basham, 89, of Livermore, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Betty Sue Basham was born May 31, 1935 in Daviess County, Kentucky, to the late Floyd and Gertie Garst Basham.

Betty earlier worked at General Electric in Owensboro and retired from York International in Madisonville. She was a member of Island Baptist Church.

Betty was a University of Kentucky Basketball fan and also enjoyed horse racing, fishing, and camping.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Basham, and a sister, Nell Jean Brown.

Betty is survived by two sisters, Jenny Heflin, of Beaver Dam, and Linda Vaught, of Hartford, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Betty’s family from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Musters in Livermore.
