FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Flossie N. Hoskins Corley, 90, of Fordsville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at Owensboro Health. Flossie was born on June 23, 1934, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Robert and Oakie Abner Hoskins.
Flossie loved to cook. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church
In addition to her parents, Flossie is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Rondal C. Corley; son, Homer “Mike” Corley; a grandson, Shawn Corley; and a daughter-in-law, Deanna Corley
Flossie is survived by her children, Ronnah (Larry) Cooper, Sherrill (Bert) Eaton, and Curtis Corley (Mary Shrewsberry); nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Rena and Patricia; and a brother, Jerry.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at Sugar Grove Baptist Church, 7692 Sunnydale Road, Fordsville, KY 42343, with burial following at Sugar Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 17, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, Kentucky, and on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
