BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Loretta K. Southard, 64, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born on July 7, 1960, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to the late Orion “Red” Mullins and Irene Holbrook Mullins.
Loretta had previously worked at The Pizza Place.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lou Simpson and Betty Leisler, and one brother, James Mullins.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her husband of 27 years, James Robert Southard, of Beaver Dam, and four children, Michael Greer, of Wisconsin, David Greer, of Wisconsin, Laurie Southard, of Alabama, and Shaun (Erika) Southard, of Beech Creek, Kentucky. Loretta was also blessed with three grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
