BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Carroll Jay Phelps, 64, of Beaver Dam, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, with his family by his side at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. He was born May 14, 1960, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Fletcher Lee Phelps and Shirley Ann Clark Humphrey.
Carroll was employed by Tamarlane Industry and attended Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed being with his family, work, and church family as well as fishing.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Darrell Ray Phelps, and nephew, James Lee Phelps.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, four siblings, Jerry Lee (Carol) Phelps, of Jerome, Michigan, Tommy Phelps, of Beaver Dam, Angela Phelps, of Tarra Haute, Indiana, and James (Rebecca) Phelps, of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
