BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Linda L. Taylor, 74, of Beaver Dam, passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, at Signature Healthcare in Hartford. She was born Sunday, April 19, 1950, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Freeman Chinn and Lena Mae Havens Chinn.
Linda retired from Peabody Coal Alston 3 and was a member of UMWA.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by nine siblings.
Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Cindy (Jason) Daugherty and Mendy Taylor; five grandchildren, Heather (JP) Wilson, Shawn (Chelsey) Heflin, Samantha Fultz, Jared (Kaitlyn) Taylor, and Dylan (Maddie) Daugherty; nine great grandchildren, Nolan, Hadley, Willow, Aiden, Adaline, Haven, Taiden, Tallulah, and Parker; one brother, Jim (Ellen) Chinn; sister-in-law, Mary Chinn; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Slaty Creek Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
