HARTFORD, Ky. — Florence E. Smith, 90, of Hartford, passed away at Med Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on Dec. 31, 2024. She was born in Hartford on Sept. 8, 1934, to the late Joseph Duke and Faye Felty Carson.
Florence was a member of Hartford United Methodist Church. She was artistically creative and enjoyed art and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, James Franklin Smith Jr.; daughters, Rebecca (Mike) Clauson and Mary Ann (Kevin) Wilson; grandchildren, Jonathan (Chey) Wilson, Joseph (Tasha) Wilson, and Laura (Craig) McKenna; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with Bro. Keith Page officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service.
