KSP investigating escaped inmate in Christian County

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. The Kentucky State Police continues to investigate the escape of an inmate from the Christian County Detention Center Saturday.

KSP Post 2 received a call from the Christian County Detention Center around 3:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, about an escaped inmate.

The preliminary investigation revealed Kevin D. Johnson, 52, of Madisonville, Kentucky, walked away from a work detail at the Convention Center in Hopkinsville.

 Johnson is described as a white male, 6’ 2”, 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a black shirt.
