VINE GROVE, Ky. — Myron Franklin “Frank or Frankie” Ross, 76, of Vine Grove, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, surrounded by his family at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was born Friday, Jan. 16, 1948, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Milburn Ross and Grethel Edwina Baize Ross.
Frank retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member or McHenry Lodge #800 F&AM. He proudly served in the United States Army serving two tours in Vietnam.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Billy Lacy; sister, Victoria “Vickie” Jean Murphy; and brother-in-law, JC Smith.
Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving with of 57 years, Linda Young Ross; two daughters, Terry Ross Boyer and Carrie Ross Lacy; five grandchildren, Brittany (JP) Julian, Cortney Boyer, William D. Lacy, Jr, Franklin D. Lacy and Shawn Boyer; eight great-grandchildren, Bailey, Ashton, June, Syleen, Brody, Dee, Lily, and Letty; siblings, Mickey (Christine) Ross, Shirlene (Danny) Maddox, Rachel (James) Byrd, and Judy Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with Allen Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Pond Run Cemetery in Echols with full military honors by Ohio County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Frank’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday.
