HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Opal D. Frame, 86, of Horse Branch, Kentucky, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Nov. 27, 2024. He was born in Horse Branch on Aug. 25, 1938, to the late Joey and Cordie Renfrow Frame.
Opal was caring husband, father, and papaw. He retired from Phillip Morris Company and he was a farmer, which he loved doing. He was a member of Hartford Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Junior, Okra, Conward, Frame; sister, Doris Likens; son, Darrell Frame; grandchildren, Jason and Tyler Piercy; and great-grandchild, Blakleigh Jane Murphy.
Opal is survived by his wife of 41 years, Vera “Molene” Frame; sons, Kevin Frame and Timothy Thompson; daughter, Katina Oldham; grandchildren, Breanna (Bo) Ashby, Justin (Sarah) Thompson, Sarah (Josh) Murphy, Emily (Brandon) Thompson, Brian Frame, Heaven, Jonathan, and R.J. Moore, and Samantha (Brian) O’Neal; great-grandchildren, Brealynn, Sadeigh and Baylor Heflin, Kawliga and Koleston Swift, Sydney and JuJu Allen, Sydney, Madison, Zoey and Lilly Kate Frame, and Reese O’Neal; brothers, Roy and Dale Frame, of Louisville, Kentucky; along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
