
Margaret worked many years as a nurse at Trover Clinic in Madisonville, Kentucky. She later worked as a supply clerk for Peabody Coal Company, Graham Hill Mines. In her spare time she enjoyed working her puzzle books, talking with her many friends about neighborhood social happenings and cross-stitching embroidered quilt tops. She also had a passion for playing the organ at the Nortonville Christian Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed taking spur of the moment road trips.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Franklin Pearson, and her sister Georgia Mary Bandy.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son, Donnie (Angela) Pearson, of Beaver Dam; three grandsons, Travis Pearson, of St. Charles, Kentucky, John Wilson, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Ethan Gilstrap, of Newburgh, Indiana; one granddaughter, Cassie (Ben) Barnes, of Rockport, Kentucky; and six great-grandchildren and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Mathew Canty officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreene Cemetery in Greenville, Kentucky.
