BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Brenda Mae Ford, 63, of Beaver Dam, passed away in her home Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after her courageous battle with cancer. The Ohio County native was born July 20, 1961, to Homer and Iva McCormack.

Brenda loved her family deeply and enjoyed getting them together to play cards and board games, though having them all together was what truly brought her joy. Brenda also had a green thumb and nurtured a beautiful flower garden for many years as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Iva McCormack, as well as her stepsister, Phyllis Wilson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 37 years, Kevin Ford; children, Travis (Kristen) Ford, and Lauren Ford; sister, Wanda (Greg) Cooper; niece, Kourtney (Seth) Stewart; grandchildren, Carter Ford, Haiden Ford, and Wyatt Mason; great-niece, Kamryn Allen; as well as many other loving family and friends.

A memorial service to honor Brenda’s life will be held Friday Nov. 22, at 1 p.m. with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. at Horse Branch Church of God, 11955 US-62 E, Horse Branch, KY 42349.
