BEAVER DAM, Ky. — William Paul Hines, 82, of Beaver Dam, passed away Nov. 1, 2024, in his home after his battle with cancer. The Ohio County native was born March 19, 1942.
Paul graduated from Centertown High School in 1960 and married his high school sweetheart, Ida Arnell Render. He then went on to build houses, work for Thomas Industries, as well as own several local businesses throughout the years.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Arnell Hines; mother, Alma Haynes White; brothers, Hershel White, Leslie “Smiley” White, and John White.
Those surviving include his son, Will (Summer) Hines; brother, James White; grandchildren, Hope (Cameron) Watkins, Faith (Adam) Jordan, Cameron Hines, and Sophie Hines; great-grandchild, Sloane Watkins; sister-in-law, Edna White; and significant other, Emma Parker; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
The family will hold a private celebration of life to honor Mr. William Paul Hines.
