ECHOLS, Ky. — Natalie B. Lile, 92, of Echols, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born Wednesday, May 25, 1932, in Rockport, Kentucky, to the late Byron Taylor Brown and Augusta Bratcher Brown.
Natalie was a homemaker and member of Pond Run Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, making pillows, and playing solitaire.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.G. Lile; daughter, Viveca Hill; grandson, Seth Southerland; and two sisters, Cheryl Mordarsky and Darnell Brown.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three children, Teresa (Calvin) Abbott, Vivian (Danny) Asberry, and Jeremy Lile, all of Echols; seven grandchildren, Kevin Abbott, Jennifer McGhee, Kimberly Ralph, Leslie Hill, Jonathen Vaught, Summer Haynes and Jillian Marshall; 15 great-grandchildren, Logan, Hailee, Ashton, Axsen, Karissa, Colby, Madison, Colten, Delaney, Jasmin, London, Autumn, Abby, Jase and Jazlynn; 10 great-great-grandchildren; three siblings, Carol (Earlene) Brown, Byron Smith (Linda) Brown and Diane Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Echols. Friends may visit with Natalie’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
