BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Betty Pirtle, 75, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away Oct. 22, 2024. She was born June 14, 1949, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Orville Huff and Gradie Neighbors Huff. She was married to the late Paul Russell Pirtle.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Orville Huff Jr., Delores Faye Johnson, Tanya Daugherty, Kaye Daugherty, Lula Mae Daugherty, Shelby Glynn Huff, and Cecil Huff.
Mrs. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed being around family and friends. She enjoyed car racing and could tell so many stories. She enjoyed cooking and took several jobs as a cook.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Pirtle (April) and Jeremy Pirtle; grandchildren, Logan Pirtle, Jessica Pirtle, and Chance Pirtle (Kelsey); siblings, Jerry Huff, Louise Webb, Bobby Huff, James Huff, and Ruth Ann Johnson.
