HARTFORD, Ky. — Alice King, 89, of Hartford, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Alice Ann Bidleman was born Nov. 14, 1934, in Gary, Indiana to the late Ralph D. and Mildred Johnson Bidleman and was married to Jerry Dean King Sr.
Alice was a homemaker, after her husband’s death helped to care for the disabled in the area, and was a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry King, who died on May 14, 1987.
Alice is survived by a son, Dean King (Tina), of Hartford; two daughters, Karen King and Kathy Bunch (Tony), both of Hartford; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McLean County. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Alice’s family.
