BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Terry Lee Patten, 74, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Born on Sept. 30, 1950, in Denver, Colorado, Terry was a man whose life was characterized by his loving nature, infectious humor, and unwavering optimism.
Professionally, Terry was a dedicated and hard worker as a truck driver. He was a member of River Haven Fellowship Ministries. Terry’s faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with guidance and comfort throughout his years.
Terry’s interests were simple yet profound. He found solace and joy in working in his yard and his garage was his sanctuary, a place where he could tinker with various projects.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Harold T. and Gladys Cone Patten, and his sister, Sandy Cavaness.
Terry was a devoted husband, having shared 12 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Linda Warner Patten; his role as a stepfather to Darrell Schoenborn (and wife Crystal), of Lewisburg, Kentucky; two step-grandchildren, Anthony Schoenborn and Aniyah Cartwright, also of Lewisburg; and his extended family, including several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
