BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Eleanor Sue Deom, 90, of Beaver Dam, passed away Sept. 25, 2024. She was born March 19, 1934, in Indiana, to the late John C. and Sarah Chadwell Morris.
Eleanor was a food service worker for Ohio County Middle School and a member of Hartford Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Homer Deom; sisters, Nellie Crask and Margie Barrera; and brother, Thomas Morris.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Otty (Keith) and Kay Geary (Charlie); grandchildren, Nikki Otty and Tasha Madden (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Kaylee Woodson (Tyler) and Colby Cole; great-great-grandchild, Laramie Woodson; brother, John David Morris; and sister, Alice Faye Cummings.
Services will be Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Scott Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service.
