HARTFORD, Ky. — William Lee “Billy” Phillips died Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at his home. Billy was born in Torrence, California, to the late Urel Lawrence and Mamie Nell Boggan Phillips.
Billy worked at Perdue Farms from 1997 to 2019 and was a member of Beulah Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his companion, Jane Tinsley, and their dog, Rowdy; his sister, Margaret Rose Sampson, of Cabot, Arkansas; two brothers, Lawrence “Larry” Erwin Phillips (Hortensia), of Ft. Worth, Texas, and David Carlton Phillips (Dianne), of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Robert Barron officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the funeral home.
The Family asks for expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Ohio County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
