HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Health Coalition will host How-To Survive and Thrive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Ohio County Park in Building 2. The Ohio County Park is at 2300 KY 69 in Hartford.
Join the Ohio County Health Coalition in building mental resilience by learning a new skill and remembering those we have lost to suicide. This event will feature a touching memorial wall and a meaningful awareness walk along with multiple how-to stations.
Learn how to do 30+ things in three hours. Among the things you can learn at the How-To Survive & Thrive event are to change a tire; fix your toilet; find and fix a water leak; make a cheap meal; recharge your car’s AC; read a voltmeter; and more. But the most important thing you can learn is how to help someone at risk of suicide.
