MADISONVILLE, Ky. — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin a milling and paving project along U.S. 62 in Ohio County tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 4.
The project area will run from Pigeon Creek at the 14.5 mm to KY 505 at the 19.8 mm. Base work along the route is scheduled to begin first, with milling and paving planned in roughly two weeks.
Motorists should anticipate lane restrictions and alternating traffic flow directed by flaggers for the duration of this project.
The project is expected to be completed by Monday, Sept. 30.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway close to traffic flow.
