UTICA, Ky. — Joyce Faye Knight, 81, of Utica, left this world peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at Heartford House after a long battle with dementia. She was born Dec. 26, 1942, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late John Thomas Spinks and Catherine Holhimer Spinks.
Joyce was a seamstress at National Linen Service for over 40 years. She enjoyed crafting. Joyce loved spending time with and taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 58 years, Eugene Ray Knight; a beautiful daughter, Vickie Ellen Huskisson; brothers, Jerry Spinks and Terry Spinks; and sisters, Patty Miller and Shirley Snider.
She is survived by her sons, William R. Knight (Tiffany), David Eugene Knight (Debbie), and James Lynn Knight, all of Owensboro, Kentucky; daughter, Linda Eastwood, of Owensboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son-in-law, John Huskisson; brother, James Allen; and three sisters, Laquita Harrison (Russel) of Grandview, Indiana, and Carolyn Ashley, and Debbie Lambert (Mark).
There will be no service or visitation.
