BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Anna Frances Shultz Mitchell, 94 of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at Signature Healthcare of Hartford, Kentucky. She was born on March 13, 1930, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Ezra and Susan Elliott Shultz.

Anna was converted at the age of 9 and joined Taylortown Methodist Church under the direction of Rev. Philip McAfee. She remained a member of the Methodist Church until the merger with the Evangelical United Brethren in 1968. She then became a member of the United Methodist Church and now belonged to Beaver Dam Methodist Church.

Anna was a graduate of Kentucky Business College and was a certified medication technician.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Alexander Ezra Mitchell and W. David Mitchell, and one sister, Martha Gray Young.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Debbie Mitchell; three grandsons, Alexander Edward Mitchell, Charles Gott, and Michael Condiff; one granddaughter, Kelly Sharp; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Condiff, Alexis Keith, Dakota Gott, Lola Gott, Austin Condiff, Michael Condiff, Jackson Condiff and McKinzie Condiff; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one niece, Marcelle Daugherty, and four nephews, Tommy Young, Wayne Young, Lawrence Young, and Noel Young.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Pastor Jeremy Ruegg officiating. Burial will follow in her beloved Taylortown Cemetery. Friends may visit with Anna’s family from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
