Robert ‘Reb’ Earl Gaddis

HARTFORD, Ky. — Robert “Reb” Earl Gaddis, 90, of Hartford, formerly of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at his home. He was born March 24, 1934, to the late Virginia Troutman.

Robert worked at Phoenixville Ironworks in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, and retired as head custodian from Boyertown Area High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea. Robert loved tinkering in his garage and working on his tractors. He enjoyed watching Westerns and spending time with his dog, Charlie.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Gaddis.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy Lynn Johnson (Joseph), Barbara Lightcap, and Bonnie Bosler (Trevor); three grandchildren, Randi Lightcap, Alyson Bosler, and Ryan Lightcap; and a great-grandson, Kaden Lightcap.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.
