BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Wade Rowe, 92, of Beaver Dam, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born Sunday, Dec. 20, 1931, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Urey Rowe and Amanda Wade Rowe.
Wade was a faithful member of Independence Baptist Church his entire life. He served the community as owner and operator of Wade Rowe Construction. Wade served in the United States Air Force.
Aside from his parents Wade was preceded in death by all nine of his siblings, Mary Rowe, Archie Rowe, Lois Rowe, Bonnie Payton, Hazel Stevens, Verna Hurchick, Roy Rowe, James Rowe, and Doris Martin.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 65 years, Camilla June Gatewood Rowe, of Beaver Dam; five children, Mark (Petice) Rowe, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Rena Rowe, of Parker, Colorado, Camilla (Ryan) Leigh, of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Patrick (Annette) Rowe, of Beaver Dam, and Leah Rowe, of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren, Jared Wooldridge, Elise Wooldridge, Thomas Rowe, Douglas (Ryley) Rowe, and Katherine Rowe, and three great-grandchildren, Archie Rowe, Willis Rowe, Amos Rowe, and Truett Rowe, due in October; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Following visitation, a graveside service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery with Pastor Thad Gunderson officiating.
