
Donald was a backhoe operator for the Ohio County Road Department and was a farmer. He enjoyed hunting, riding horses, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Magan.
Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Carpenter Magan; two sons, Robbie (Sherry) Magan and Clint (Heather) Magan; two daughters, Carla (Terry) Griffin and Kami (Jason) Likens; grandchildren, Andrew (Arin) Magan, Adam (Johnna) Magan, Taylor Griffin, Sam Griffin, Devin Coffield, Lane Likens, Byron Magan, Bradyn Magan, Shelby Magan, Nathan (Samantha) Likens, and Kayla (Chevy) Minton; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sherry Addington.
Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 1, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday, August 2, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. The service will begin at 2 p.m. with Bro. Ron Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Magan Community Cemetery.
