WAVERLY, Ky. — Shelia Green, 73, of Waverly, passed away July 10, 2024, at her home. She was born June 16, 1951, in Leatherwood, Kentucky, to the late Oscar and Alma Tinch Sellers.
Shelia retired from Ohio County Schools after 10 years of service. Most of that time being at Beaver Dam Elementary School.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bobby Green; brothers, Ernest Sellers and Lindell Sellers; sisters, Christine Watson, Frances Leach, Janice Reed, and Linda Shinn.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Scoty (Larissa) Green, of Murphysboro, Illinois, and Steven (Richele) Green, of Corydon, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Hannah Green, Skyler Green, Noah Green, Addison Libbert, and Madilyn Libbert; two brothers, Wayne sellers, of Morganfield, Kentucky, and Jimmy Sellers of Leatherwood, Kentucky; companion, Earl Wolfe, of Waverly, Kentucky; seven bonus children, 17 bonus grandchildren, and 15 bonus great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 15, at William L. Danks Funeral Home (222 N. Lafayette St., Beaver Dam, KY 42320) with Rev. Jeff Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Taylortown Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Shelia’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Whitsell Funeral Home, 250 N. Court St., Morganfield, KY 42437.
