CROMWELL, Ky. — James “Crazy Ray” Johnson Sr., 66, of Cromwell, passed away June 27, 2024, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born in Hartford, Kentucky, to parents James and Elizabeth Johnson on April 6, 1958.
James loved his family and spending time with them as much as he could. He retired from GRMC out of Owensboro, Kentucky, but continued to ride his motorcycle when he could.
James is preceded in death by his wife, Robin Lanee Johnson; parents, James and Elizabeth; brother, Leland Gregory; sister, Brenda Kay Goodman; and grandparents, J.C. and Alma Whitaker and James Everett and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson.
Left to cherish his memory is his children, Elizabeth Johnson, James (Shannon) Johnson Jr., Jennifer Johnson, Corey (Tiffany) Joiner, Jessica (Cory) Draffen, Katie (Robert) Ha, and Britney Sanders; sister, Jeanne (Ronnie) Embry; grandchildren, Alexis Givens, Alan Givens, James Kessinger, Emilee Kessinger, Richard Moss, Jayden Johnson, Jeremie Givens, Kyra Parker, Miles Bowling, Lea Bowling, Grace Ha, and Tyler Sanders; great-grandchildren, Skyla Statts and Hayzlee Givens; and his beloved fur baby, Cash; as well as many other family and friends.
