HARTFORD, Ky. — Jack Morris, 78, of Hartford, reunited with his daughters in heaven on Friday, June 28, 2024, at his residence in Hartford. He was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Hartford, Kentucky, to Oscar Morris and Lottie Burden.
He retired after 30 years of service from Inland Steel and was a member of Union Grove Church.
Jack was preceded in death by both parents; three daughters, Sandy Louann Morris, Vickie Jean Morris, and Stephanie Morris; three brothers, his twin, Jerry L. Morris, Tommy Morris, and Donald Morris; and four sisters, Judy Bittle, Della Morris, Helen Baggarly, and Louise Moore.
Those left behind to carry on his memory with love are his wife, Cathy McDonald Morris, to whom he was married since March 25, 1967; his son, Ronald Morris; two brothers, Edward Morris and Bobby (Susie) Morris; niece Stefanie Morris; and two grandson, Tristan Morris, and Aaron Morris; and grandson at heart, Christopher Morris.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with burial following at Taylormine Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Jack’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
